Hey ladies! Welcome to the Thanksgiving edition of TT:] I have such a lovely glitter to show you tonight. It's from Darling Diva Polish, and though it's released in a holiday collection, it fits right in with the Thanksgiving feel: here's FUUUUUUUUUUUDGE over Sally Hansen CSM Bittersweet.

this polish is just screaming Thanksgiving and fall at me. I'm so glad I got it in now :]

I Make it Rain Leaves!

Hello all:] I have another beautiful Lacquistry to show you all today, I Make it Rain Leaves. I had some trouble figuring out the best way to rock this collection, but I stumbled on Harvest Moon and decided that it would work best with this polish. I used to stay away from wearing glitter over foils [something about the combination always bothered me for some reason..], but after wearing Glass Houses, I'm warming up to the whole thing. So I put on 2 coats of CG Harvest Moon [which is a PERFECT fall color] and then 1 coat of IMiRL.

I love all the colors in IMiRL, they go together so well! Anyway, I'll be having guest posts and backlogged swatches for the next week-ish, I broke some nails pretty badly this weekend:[ I'm hoping the base coat I'm using will hurry up the process!!

Feenix Swatches and Review

Hello lovelies! I have some great polishes to show you today from Feenix Polish :]

First up is Country Roads. My feelings on this one have been like a roller coaster. Loved it in the listing pictures, wasn't impressed with it in the bottle IRL, then really liked it again when it was on the nail. I was a little disappointed the the multi-chrome shown in the picture wasn't apparent in person, but I really love the polish for what it is. I'll stop blabbering for a second.

3 coats

With flash.

LtoR: 3 coats Country Roads, 1 coat CR over Finger Paints Sketchy Character, 1 coat CR over Zoya Penny

My favorite way to wear this is definitely on its own, it looks so cozy and plush to me. I'm definitely wearing this around Thanksgiving time, I can't wait. There's definitely a duochrome aspect to this polish, and it's really unique. The shimmer is really stunning in this.

2 coats

This one is right up my alley. Vibrant blue jelly, with tons of glitter. Swoon! I really adore shades like this, I can't get enough. It's like a mini galaxy:] Or a pumped up version of Essie SSN. This was at 2 coats, and the more sheer spots in these pictures don't exist at all in person.

Formula on both of these was good, flowed well. I got a ton of glitter payoff in DwtBDO, and CR was good in terms of opacity. I think you might be able to get away with 2 thicker coats there.

So there you have 2 stunners from Feenix Polish! be sure to check out that Etsy store, she really has some stunners in there. I'm lusting after Cammie, Falling for You, Halloween Party, Clots of Love, Shake Your Tailfeathers, Feenix Rising, and Embers !

Sparkles by Julie Review

Hello, all! Today I have a new-to-me indie brand, Sparkles by Julie, to show off! I got 3 of her lovely polishes a little while ago and she was incredibly sweet about setting up a listing for me, and according to her Etsy shop description, she's hurt her wrist:[ So I'm sending some get-well-soon wishes her way!

So in addition to being really nice, Julie has also got some great polishes. I got 3 of her minis and I actually do love them all. Pictures first, more talk later. 2 coats on each polish, by the way:]

Water Lily

Lost in Space

Coco

Are you as in love with these as I am?! I can't even. Water Lily has got to be my favorite at the moment, though I know I'm going to be wearing Coco all autumn long. Plus, 2 coats and they're really opaque. I didn't have any problem at all with the formula, really great and flowed well for me. Anyway, I'm off to sit in the sun, since it's the first nice day we've had in a while here!

Not-So-Summery

So I have today this really gorgeous polish that I love, but is sooo not even a little summery haha. This is Buried Alive from Orly's Dark Curses collection, and it's just an amazing shimmery, glowy brown. I wasn't usually a fan of brown polish, but I think that if there's any shimmer or something, I'm automatically in love. This has a pretty morbid name, but I guess I get it in the context? I don't really know much about the movie this collection is based on, but I'm definitely glad that this polish came out because of it!

Mmmmm shimmer<3 The formula on this was really great, 2 smooth coats. Really pigmented, too!

I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaack;]

Hello lovelies! I'm back from LA and I've missed everyone! Okay, quick story, I had a dream last night that I was looking for a certain polish I need to franken with and it was out of stock everywhere [even though it's an easy to find polish]. Weird! I guess Basemageddeon is getting to me? I mean, I don't use lacquer base [I've thought about it though.. guess it won't be happening for a while!], I just franken with existing polish + loose glitters. I did order a tiny amount of base recently just to try it out, but anything made with that will probably made for friends/a giveaway or something. Anyway, I'm sure you want to see some polish! I did this look last week and surprisingly loved it! I'm proud of myself, I'm wearing more reds and now browns and working on pinks:] Woo! Here's 1 thick coat of Sally Hansen Bittersweet + 1 coat of Essie As Gold as it Gets.

I'm loving the little red glints in the shimmer here.. What are your personal "out-there" polishes? Mine are red, brown, and pink.. Weird, since I LOVE rocking bright glitters and crazy patterns. Some taupes also intimidate me sometimes, too.

Chocolotta Love! [FAVORITE]

I want to start off by saying that I really hate brown on me. I hate brown polish [I feel like it looks so weird on me], brown clothes [ditto], brown basically everything that I need to wear. I have brown hair and brown eyes and anything else is just an overload in my mind. Enter Lynnderella's Chocolotta Love: "a blend of brown multi-sized hexagons and squares, black microglitter, as well as scattered yellow, red, purple, turquoise, lime and emerald "candies" in a sheer chocolate base. Like brownies with M+Ms baked in." This polish redeemed brown for me. I got this one because I knew I had to take a chance, plus it just looked so glowy! And I love chocolate, so yeah. Okay, less talking, more polish.

Sorry about the overload of pictures, but I couldn't even begin to capture how glowy and pretty and unexpected this polish is! I put it over 2 coats of Brucci Sparkling Bordeaux [as I have no other browns haha]. But I like the effect, it comes out more wine toned. I wore this till it chipped, about 2.5 days. I was literally mesmerized haha. The formula was great on this one, I really loved it. It was so easy to get the glitter on your nails and the multicolored glitter really looked sunken in and it was just so visually interesting. So even before I get to the blue in the collection, I know that this is my favorite!

Twas the Night Before Christmas & All Through the House...

Hello everybody! It's almost Christmas!!! You know what that means... more Christmas frankens! Woooooooo! This I called Night Before Christmas, a deep reddish brown jelly with red and green glitter.

This is the franken I had on under Lynnderella's Very Pretty Vampire. But I like it better on its own, you can see the green and red wayyyyy better:] How do you like this franken? It's not my typical color, but I think I like it!
