Note: I have not had internet or access to a computer for 3 days now:[ This is the first time I've been able to temporarily connect, so I'll be posting my TT post [which was written but wouldn't post] and some more that I'd wanted to schedule. So sorry about this!!
Guys, I'm freaking out.. It's my first day of my senior year at college!! :[ What the heck?! I have the perfect mani on right now, so it's making me a little happier. But still. So weirded out right now.. I can't believe how fast it's gone by!
I know you all want to see my fugly nails heehee;] This is actually one of my favorite polishes on me. Last time I wore this, I got a lot of compliments from my more fashion-forward friends. But it is such a strange color, and I'm sure it doesn't float everyone's boat, so I think it qualifies as a fugly polish, yes?? Without further ado, here's 2 coats of OCC Swamp Thing!
Love or hate?? I really want to know what you ladies think!!

Happy Friday! What are everyone's plans for the weekend? I have to go get a bed frame [boring] and start packing to move back to school.. Weird. In other news, I now have a facebook page for my polishes! Take a look: http://www.facebook.com/TwoBirdsPolishes :]
So today I have some seriously pretty glitters for you. I have 6 stunning glitter toppers to show you all today from Glimmer by Erica!
Again, you can purchase Glimmer by Erica HERE, and honestly, I highly recommend them. Such pretty glitters!! I can't wait to do jelly sandwiches with these:]

So today I have some seriously pretty glitters for you. I have 6 stunning glitter toppers to show you all today from Glimmer by Erica!
Don't be a Drag, Just be a Queen
Barry M Raspberry, 2 coats
This polish is "a vibrant, sparkling red with silver prism glitter and beautiful red hearts" according to the listing. And it really is! I love how it looks like this at one coat, but for extra bling, definitely go for 2. I was also impressed with the formula on these, really smooth and got a good distribution and amount of glitter on each nail.
Muy Caliente
LtoR: Sally Hansen Red Carpet, Cult Nails Annalicious, OPI, Danke-Shiny Red, Essie Orange, it's Obvious
Muy Caliente, a "super sparkly mix of red, orange, and yellow glitters in a clear base", is one of my favorites!! I'm obsessed with these colors together. It's really fiery-looking. I'd love to do a glitter gradient with this! I can't decide which polish I like it best over, but it miiiiight be Orange, It's Obvious. Or Red Carpet. ahhh, don't make me choose!
50 Shades of No Gray
Essie Boxer Shorts on its own, 2 coats
50 Shades of No Gray is a "sparkly base with black and white hexes and black and white hearts". I'm not usually the biggest fan of heart glitter, but I think it looks really cute in this polish! Application and glitter distribution was the same, really great. I love the sparkly base a lot. I wish I had gotten like 1 or 2 more hearts, but that's the only slight downside.
Ethereal
LtoR: Zoya Song, China Glaze Starboard, OCC RX
Ethereal is a "blue and yellow micro fine glitter base with slightly larger blue and yellow hexes and even bigger blue, green and yellow hexes". I. LOVE. THE YELLOW GLITTERS. They really make such a difference! The polish is just so bright and happy because of it. I like it most over Song, it looks like a little galaxy:]
Green with Envy
LtoR: CG Emerald Sparkle, Cult Nails Deal with It, Revlon Rainforest
This is Green with Envy, " emerald green micro fine glitter, gold micro glitter, emerald green hexes, small gold squares, round gold holos and diamond holos". Uhm, yes please. Green + gold is one of my favorite combinations. I really love this over Deal with It!! I'm also a big fan of the green to gold ratio. Perfection!
Twilight Sky
LtoR: Milani Rad Purple, CG Manhunt, Barry M Raspberry
Finally, Twilight Sky: "a sparkling purple glitter base with purple, blue, and orange micro glitter, blue sapphire holo glitter, purple square glitter, and dark navy blue glitter, all in a clear lacquer base". I feel like the orange glitter in this one does the same thing as the yellow in Ethereal. Gorgeous. How pretty is this over purple??
Again, you can purchase Glimmer by Erica HERE, and honestly, I highly recommend them. Such pretty glitters!! I can't wait to do jelly sandwiches with these:]

A Tale of 3 Cremes
Once upon a time, there lived many oft-neglected cremes in Sarah's stash. They pined away as she put glitter after glitter on her nails or covered up these cremes with glitter [because she's a complete magpie/glitter whore]. So these cremes lay, languishing to never be worn.. Until one day, when 3 cremes came along and reminded Sarah why a good creme [while not nearly as sparkly as her beloved glitters] certainly have a well-deserved place in her stash, and are beautiful in their own way. And all were happy! The end.
Haha, okay, but really. This was inspired by a mini swap I did with Steph of Short N Chic. I got American Apparel's Butter from her and it looked sooo pretty! So I had to put it on right away:]

This is so soft and pretty and yellow!! and I love it! It had me looking at my hands a lot, which surprised me actually. Plus, it was this opaque and even in just 2 coats. Most yellows take at LEAST 3 and still look nothing like this. The tradeoff, though, is that the formula has this thick but runny thing, so it takes a little maneuvering. But honestly? With an end result like this, it's more than worth it:]
Next up is Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic's Swamp Thing
[Sorry for the beat-up mani, I wore this all day before having the chance to take pictures and it was a brutal day on my nails] 2 ridiulously easy coats of murky, swampy, greeny gorgeousness! A friend in class told me she really liked this polish, so you know it's a winner. I never took the plunge with RBL's No More War; I never knew if it would actually look good on me. But I'm glad I didn't spend the money on that, this fulfills that lemming AND I like it on my skin:]
Finally, RBL Recycle:
My first ever RBL! I got this off a blog sale a while ago for a really reduced price, so I had to snatch it up. The formula on RBLs take a little getting used to, in that they're thinner than I expected. But the polish went right where I wanted it to go and 2 coats later, I got this amazing green you see up there^. I got compliments on this mani, too! Surprisingly, it was from a guy friend who rarely notices "girly" things like nail polish haha. He literally grabbed my fingers, stared at them, and went "...woah." So definitely a good thing!!
Whew, kudos to you for getting through that! Hope you've liked my venture into the magical world of cremes!;] Which one of these is your favorite??
P.S. I hit 200 followers!! Stay tuned for a giveaway soon!
