Plumberry

Hi again! I hope everyone's doing well:) I'm finally on the uphill side of a nasty flu (and considering I need to fly across the country on Tuesday, I'm very excited about this). I actually want to show you what's on my nails this very second: NYC Plaza Plumberry. This is probably my favorite color of the season, I love how dark and shiny it is and it just makes me feel a little more sophisticated when I wear it. It goes so well with every outfit too, so I think I might need to keep this on for a while! This was 2 super easy coats. It's not quite this black-leaning IRL, which I like. I think it's a pretty close dupe of Zoya Casey also! I got Casey for my mom for Christmas and just from looking at the bottles, I think you could go with either for the same look. But while PP is 99 cents, Zoyas are more expensive. So your call:)

Jeggings: My Take on the Chanel Les Jeans

Hello, lovely ladies! Happy Sunday:] Today I have for you my take on Chanel's Les Jeans polishes. Cremes are pretty and all, but totally not my favorite finish of polish. So the Chanel Les Jeans polishes just didn't call to me at all... especially when considering the price! And the Nubar versions of it didn't float my boat enough either. But I got some frankening supplies recently and realized that I haven't made a creme in a loooooooooong time.. So I naturally I had to fix that! :] I call this one Jeggings, since it's based on the jeans polishes, but nooooot exactly, heehee.

I had it on at 3 coats:] this franken is suuuuuper shiny and dried really fast! It's definitely the NYC Extra Shiny Top Coat I use for my frankens. Seriously, it's awesome. If you franken and don't need a suspension base, get this stuff!! :] That's my 2 cents lol.

So how was everyone's weekend??? Mine was completely unproductive [but relaxing!].

P.S. Fingers, Amanda, and Rach: this one's for you;] I know you girls love your cremes!

Candy Corn & Spiderwebs

Ready for some [super amateur] nail art? So I did my housemate's nails a few days ago, she wanted candy corn nails. Well, she let me be a creeper & take pictures of her hand so I could show you guys!

I used Sally Hansen White On for the white, NYC Spring Street for the orange, and Sally Hansen Lightening for the yellow. Then I topped them off with the glow in the dark polish from Fantasy Makers!

Now my nails:

I used a base of Revlon Aloof, then stamped the spiderwebs in Wet n' Wild Black Creme & the orange spiders in NYC Spring Street, & topped it all off with that same glow in the dark polish.

Little better than those decals, right? haha
