3 coats of Sally Hansen Sea from the Smooth and Perfect line and 2 coats of Lynnderella's Attitude Adjust-Mint:
^My favorite part of this mani is the giant iridescent glitter on the side of my pinkie [pardon the fuzz, I totally didn't catch that. oops!].
Okay, I LOVE how clean this looks but still eye catching and there's glitter and it's mint green [which I usually don't wear, but LOVE now] and it's perfect. And this isn't coming off for a long time. See, I usually don't post the mani I'm wearing at that given time [I have a folder of manis to post that are cropped and ready], but I had to show this one right away, especially because of the little backstory:] I wanted a mani to signify the changes that I hope to enact this year [particularly in my school life], like keeping up with my class readings more and going to the gym and participating in my classes rather than being an observer, so I thought the name of this Lynnderella was fitting! So I basically let this mani cut in front of the other posts I have planned, but that's okay since I'm not taking this off for a while haha. So there will be plenty of time for other polishes to shine!
Oh, and totally unsolicited endorsement: Luxi Nail Salon in Highland Park, NJ is great. My housemates and I went yesterday [2 got manicures, my other friend and I got pedicures]. The staff was friendly and efficient and did my pedicure really well. It was clean and modern looking and I really really loved my pedicure there. If anyone's interested, I chose OPI Miami Beet and it looks flawless. They also do student discounts! So, basically: go there. End raving about salon.
Anyway, what do you think about mint green? Or this Lynnderella in general [my sister saw it in the bottle and said it looks gross haha]? & do you go to salons to get pedicures or manicures?? I never get my nails done, but I'll go to get a pedi every once in a while, to pamper myself.
P.S. Sorry for the long post! :p
