Happy Twinsie Tuesday to all! This week, our theme was ombre manis. Okay, I had the hardest time find colors that went well togther, sooo in the end, I just painted my middle nail with 2 coats of
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic's RX, and then mixed it with a little black for the ring nail and a little more black for the pinky, then mixed RX with some white for the index and a little more white on the thumb:] I LOVED how this came out!! And it really wasn't that hard either, so double win. Although, biggest regret: putting in too little white for the thumb. Next time!
I need to try this in green!! I loveeeeee it so much, it's actually surprising! I really can't get over it, I thought I wouldn't be a big fan. TT has made a convert out of me;]
What do you think of this!? And make sure you take a look at the polishes from my other lovely twinsies<3

I love it Sarah!
ReplyDeleteI've heard that is the "true" way to do an Ombre? To pick something and mix it (like black and white, and make 3 shades of grey). At least you know they will all have the same undertones! With my pinks I was afraid I'd mix really warm with really cool, etc...love this!
thanks! idk if this is the real way, but i just didn't have my whole stash with me here haha
DeleteOMG I can't believe you did this with just one polish and adding white or black! Amazing!
ReplyDeletethanks!!
DeleteThis looks amazing Sarah!! Great idea with the black and white. I've only done white. I'm going to try it this way next! Thanks for sharing ;0)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about mixing the colors but decided that would be way too messy.. I am very impressed that you did! It turned out wonderful!
ReplyDeletethank you! it was actually a lot easier than i thought:]
DeleteVery cool! I think you're the only one who did light to dark from thumb to pinky :)
ReplyDeletehahaha i didn't even notice;]
DeleteI too like the light thumb moving to a dark pinkie. I though about doing that, but didn't. I should have. This looks fantastic!
ReplyDeletethanks! i didn't even think about that lol
DeleteOh, I really like how this turned out...I had a hard time finding colors so mixed mine, too. Although I was a bit slack on my mixing, lol.
ReplyDeletethank you!:]
DeleteVery beautiful!!

DeleteThis came out great, Sarah! I really love that you were able to achieve your colors just by mixing. That's so cool!
ReplyDeletethank you! it was a lot of fun:]

DeleteGORGEOUS colors!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I didn't even think of using one polish to create this mani! I just compared different polishes!
ReplyDeletethanks! i didn't have my whole stash with me, so i figured this would be better haha
DeleteThis is amazeballs! And the fact that they are all from one polish blows my mind. Great job!
