Thursday! Where did the week go?! we're nearing up on the end of my semester which means 2 things: 1. More time to post & 2. More time to franken!! I'll probably be taking 2 online classes over the summer, but they should be easy peasy, so I'm pretty excited to just sleep a lot and franken a lot. Also, this weekend is my Easter weekend [Orthodox Christian.. different calender and all that], so I'll be scheduling posts starting tomorrow and should be back to normal by Monday:] Easter is one of my favorite weekends, so I'm ready to be home haha.
Ready for more Tony Moly polishes? This is Milky Way, and I thiiiink it's my second favorite, but they're all so dang pretty, so it's hard to choose. MW looks just like Revlon Whimsical or Deborah Lippmann's Glitter in the Air in the bottle. BUT, it's a LOT more opaque on the nail. Like 3 thin-to-medium coats and no VNL in sight. It's great! I wasn't super interested in this one, as I assumed it'd be as sheer as GitA and Whimsical, but the opacity makes it [in my opinion] so much better. I've always loved the bottle color of the Revlon and Lippmann, and never quite got it, so MW excites me lol. Here's 3 coats:
Admittedly, it's not exactly bottle color, but I do really adore this one. It makes me think of babies! Which I love. so no complaints here!
Beautiful!! :D I hope that you have an amazing Easter weekend, and I am looking forward to seeing the new frankens you will come up with!! :D
ReplyDeletethank you!
DeleteThis looks so lovely on you! I love how opaque it is too--that's my only complaint about the original and Whimsical, so it's really cool someone finally perfected the formula with a true to bottle color (I'm a fan of the bottle shade, like you).
